The energy services offered by the EVA Group cater for all types of customers, from small consumers to large companies. For each situation we draw up a targeted action plan, reducing energy use and environmental impact, while also ensuring a reduction in costs. For example, by installing the latest generation of LED lighting, or by creating cogeneration systems. Made to measure savings.

SOLAR POWER

Renewable energy production plants, such as solar power, are the ideal solution to increase energy savings and efficiency. By installing a solar power system to produce your own energy from renewable sources, i.e. the sun, you can save money on purchasing energy from the national grid. This means lower environmental impact and lower spending, with no fluctuations in the price of raw materials.

COGENERATORS AND TRIGENERATORS

Cogeneration plants are a brilliant way to optimise resources, by recovering and reusing the "waste" heat produced by the primary source of power, which can be gas or the sun. This way, a single system produces both thermal and electrical energy, with considerable savings for the consumer and the environment.

LED LIGHTING

LED technology is currently the most energy efficient lighting solution. This is for many reasons: because it reduces CO2 emissions, because it controls the flow of light and temperature, and because it adapts lighting in areas and spaces to suit your needs.

This technology is suitable for use in all sectors where lights are used for a large number of hours, or where there is a particular need for colour rendering to facilitate processing and a considerable service life that minimises maintenance.

E-MOBILITY

To support the spread of electric cars, we need to keep increasing the number of charging columns available. The cheapest and most practical solution is to have a charging station at home or at the company where you work, or at car parking places. This makes it possible to store energy under the best market conditions and with the lowest environmental impact.

In the immediate future, recharging columns will make it possible to draw electricity from the batteries in cars for use on site or to feed it into the distribution network. A green solution to optimise the transfer of energy to the latest generation of cars.

AIR CONDITIONING

Air conditioning plays a fundamental role for physical well-being in both public and private environments. To make the system more efficient, we work on the factors that characterise the quality of the air we breathe: temperature, humidity and recirculation speed. The market is moving towards technological solutions that allow both better living comfort and a clear reduction in consumption.

AIR COMPRESSORS

The use of compressed air is widespread in various manufacturing sectors. Compressed air is used as an energy carrier, although it involves a considerable cost for its operation. The electricity used for the compressors can account for up to 75% of the total energy costs.

Conventional operating conditions require an enormous amount of energy, due to the start-up of the system at maximum power every time the air pressure drops below the minimum threshold. The possibility of varying engine speed, on the other hand, makes it possible to adapt the compressor delivery to the real air demand conditions, guaranteeing lower electricity consumption and therefore savings.

ELECTRIC MOTORS AND INVERTERS

In the industrial sector, energy consumption in electric motors can even exceed 50% of total consumption. It follows that focusing on the technology of these rotating machines can bring considerable benefits in terms of energy and cost savings.

Electric motors are very reliable, durable and require minimal maintenance. Replacing them with new generation equipment can have a significant economic impact.

Inverters coupled to an electric motor are used to vary the speed. If it is not necessary to operate at nominal speed, the inverter reduces the load on the motor, reducing power consumption by up to 40%.

COLD ROOMS AND
COOLING SYSTEMS

In certain sectors, more than 50% of energy needs are allocated to the cold production line. These are specific industrial activities: in the fish or agri-food sector, for freezing and deep-freezing, or in the pharmaceutical and wine industry.

The work cycle can be optimised with a considerable reduction in energy consumption, for example by working on compressors or by installing high-efficiency electric motors combined with inverters. This leads to better temperature management and a significant reduction in costs.

ENERGY SUPPLY
CONTROL SYSTEMS

Generally speaking, significant savings can already be achieved by analysing and improving energy quality at the end user. There are several factors that influence the electrical quantities involved in power withdrawal: the presence of electric motors, electronic lighting supplies, computers, motor speed starting systems and non-linear loads.

Each of these elements can cause excessive phase shifting between voltage and current. This entails the application of penalties by national energy distributors. EVA works to reduce the natural phenomenon of phase shift, keeping it within the predefined levels, by inserting appropriate capacitor coils in the customer's system. The result is no penalties, control over consumption and reduced costs.
